My parents live with me. Can they use their money to help pay for some of the expenses?

Yes, parents can contribute their fair share of expenses when living with an adult child. It's important to put that in a control though because in the event that the parent might need Medicaid in the future to help pay for the cost of a nursing home, it will be important to show Medicaid that the parent has received the fair market value of the dollars that they have given the child for those expenses.
