When I think about elder law, I think about three different stages of our life, the part of our life where we're healthy and everything is wonderful and we need to plan for our children, for ourselves, for our spouse, for our businesses, and then when we think about the time we're gonna die. We all know we're gonna die. We don't know when it's gonna happen, so we want to plan for our children, grandchildren, and our spouse, and the people we care about, and how our businesses are gonna succeed to the next generation. And then there's this time in between. That's the time that we might be disabled. Our children could become disabled, our spouse could be disabled, and this is the time that we want to plan for disability or the special needs of the people we care about. So, elder law encompasses all the different stages of our lives.
